About Me

I am currently serving as a Remediation Programme Officer (RPO) at the RMG Sustainability Council (RSC), where I coordinate and monitor remediation programs for 100+ Ready‑Made Garment (RMG) factories. My work focuses on fire, electrical, structural, and occupational health & safety (OHS) compliance remediation, ensuring timely Corrective Action Plan (CAP) closure, effective risk mitigation, and sustainable compliance outcomes. I work closely with factory management teams, engineers, consultants, international brands, BGMEA/BKMEA, and regulatory stakeholders to support long‑term compliance and workplace safety improvement

Previously, I worked as Senior Executive – Compliance at L’Usine Fashion Ltd. and as Officer – HR & Compliance at Palmal Group of Industries. In these roles, I led and coordinated compliance department successfully and managed multiple third‑party audits, buyer assessments, and certification processes, including BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, Higg FEM, ACCORD/RSC, GOTS, RCS, OCS, C‑TPAT, and numerous brand Codes of Conduct.

I bring extensive experience in social and industrial compliance, CSR initiatives, security compliance, audit preparation, internal auditing, corrective action planning, risk assessment, legal compliance, safety inspections, environmental management, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) monitoring, supply‑chain monitoring and evaluation, industrial relations, and workforce training and development.

I am a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), a ZDHC Auditor (Level 2 & 3), and a Basic Auditor for SA8000.

Academically, I hold an MSc in Environment and Disaster Management, an MBA, and a Diploma in Social Compliance and HR Management. This multidisciplinary background strengthens my ability to integrate sustainability, human rights due diligence, environmental responsibility, and business performance into operational practices.

In addition to my professional responsibilities, I am actively involved in research and publication on environmental management, sustainability, and climate‑related issues in the RMG sector, reflecting my commitment to evidence‑based, research‑driven, and future‑oriented compliance solutions.
